| Oct 8 2007 11:32:00:000AM | FCT, the Australian combustion and process specialist company, today announced the establishment of its new European subsidiary, FCT GmbH, in Wiesbaden, Germany. FCT, operates mainly in the cement industry, and also has customers in other mineral processing industries, including lime, pulp and paper, nickel and alumina. The group serves industry through two Australian registered companies, FCT Combustion, which supplies specialist combustion equipment and expertise, and FCT ACTech, which offers on-line analysis and quality control equipment, including the unique Continuous On Stream Mineral Analyser, or COSMA. FCT also engineers spectacular ceremonial flames for international events including the Olympic Games. The main focus of FCT GmbH will be to better support the company's existing European customers and to broaden its customer base in the region. Over 85% of FCT's business is done internationally, and the company's service-oriented philosophy demands close support for its customers. The Managing Director of the FCT Group of Companies, Mr Constantino Manias, expressed his pleasure on announcing the move, stating: 'We are delighted to be moving permanently into Europe.
